Cherokee Bodywork is not just a massage, but belongs to the ancient, traditional Cherokee medicine, which developed over years 3000-4000, there are seven major areas of knowledge wurde.Insgesamt the Cherokee medicine. One of them is Hiskoliya - Cherokee Cherokee massage or bodywork called. Cherokee Bodywork belongs to the Cherokee medicine and physical therapy includes bodywork also moxabustion eg, minor surgery, obstetrics and much more.
Cherokee Body Work is a comprehensive application, it will be treated not only individual body parts separately, but man as a whole being, including his spiritual being.
Also in Europe is a Cherokee Bodywork a longer training course, from a total of 16 courses. The contents range from massage techniques, knowledge of the skeletal system, muscular system, lymphatic system, blood system, nervous system, etc., knowledge of herbal teachings and their application as well as shamanic elements. 
Course I includes massage techniques, and even little information about herbal teachings and shamanic elements.

Is there any website to read more about the Cherokee hands on medicine? The link is only the European promo. Would you recommend the book on rolling thunder by doug boyd? Does it contain information on what the healing practice is?

Heute von moderner Medizin wiederentdeckt – Cherokee Bodywork – Uralte Heilmethode der Cherokee Indianer
 
Cherokee Bodywork gehört zur physikalischen Therapie der Cherokee Medizin und ist über 3000 Jahre alt. Unsere moderne Medizin hat bereits einige Anteile des Cherokee Bodyworks übernommen, besonders die Physiotherapie, Chiropraktiken undOsteoporose Behandlungen.
In den USA ist es möglich im Zuge einer medizinischen Ausbildung Cherokee Bodywork an Colleges und Universitäten zu erlernen. Ein Vorreiter war und ist Prof. Dr. med. Lewis Mehl-Madrona vom Saskatchewan College of Medicine. Er wuchs in Kentucky bei seinen Cherokee Großeltern auf, studierte Medizin an der Universität Stanford und lernte von verschiedenen Eldern Cherokee Bodywork. Als er herausfand, dass nur 10 Prozent der Reservats-Indianer über ihre traditionelle Medizin Bescheid wissen, beschloss er sich der Verbreitung des Wissens über Cherokee Bodywork und Cherokee Medizin zu widmen.
Nun ist es auch möglich Cherokee Bodywork in Europa zu erlernen. Medicine Turtle, ein Medizinmann aus Kentucky, ebenfalls wie Prof. Dr. med. Lewis Mehl-Madrona mit seinen Cherokee Großeltern aufgewachsen, unterrichtet Cherokee Bodywork vom traditionellen Blickwinkel aus.
Der nächste Kurs findet vom 12. – 13. Mai bei Passau statt. Es ist der erste von sechszehn Kursen und beinhaltet: physikalische Techniken (Massagetechniken, Bodyworktechniken), Einführung in die Kräuterlehre. 
Es finden immer wieder Kurse an verschiedenen Orten statt, bei Interesse bitte melden. Auch ist es möglich selbst einen Kurs zu organisieren.

Is Cherokee bodywork accepted as a continuing education requirement in the Arkansas Board of Massage Therapists? Also, I need help in obtaining clients. I am a new graduate from Heritage college Massage Therapy in Little Rock, AR, I need work. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. Steve Owen
