National Holistic Institute and Pacific College of Oriental Medicine

Hi all, I am currently in my first term of massage school at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in NYC. I am attending here because I am able to live with family while I am in school but my plan was to move to California once I graduated.  I thought this would make life easier on me but that is not the case as I am not happy being in NYC and I am not getting along with everyone in the house so I have decided to try to transfer to a school in the environment I want to be in.  So far the National Holistic Institute is looking best (I want to be in the San Francisco bay area) but I would love to hear from people who actually went to that school. Other suggestions for that area are welcome also.  If anybody happens to be familiar with my current school and has input on that as well that would great.  I guess I'm kind of worried that I will leave a really good school for a not so good one but my current program takes two years to complete and I really don't think I can handle staying in this living situation for that long.  I am wondering when it comes to getting jobs does the school you say you graduated from make a big difference in how hirable you are?
