I'd like some feedback on this. I am currently in the road with a dance company. About two weeks ago, one of the dancers came to me and said her calf was spasming onstage. It felt slightly warm to touch, but not hot, and was not discolored. We Kinesio Taped it for a few days until it started feeling better. The warm sensationwas gone the next day when I checked it again. I was cautious with massage on the calf in case it was a dvt, but it seemed to behave like just a minor strain over time. Then tonight the same thing happened again - calf siezed up, felt slightly warm to touch. Now I'm concerned again about dvt. We do spend an awful lot of time traveling on a bus being more or less inert, although she's been touring for several years and doesn't have a history of this sort of thing. Two weeks ago was the first time. Thoughts?

Whats DVT ?

Does dvt cause spasm or cramping?  I would think the conservative approach would be to recommend a visit to a doctor to have it checked out.
