Spa Chakra filed chapter 7 Bankruptcy on Friday, closing 15 spas without notice.
Affected are hotel spas in SF, Chicago, Indianapolis, and New York, including the Guerlain Spa, home of the $260 massage.
SpaChakra had been participating heavily with Groupon and similar discount programs, offering over $350 of spa services for $100 or less.
