I would really like to travel next year to many countries to learn and work with massage. What are some good countries to learn a new modality and where would it be really fun to work. I like adventure!

I always wanted to go to Thailand. I red a advertisement in Massage & Bodywork mag. about a Healing Center. Look it up..www.drbobsthaitrip.com I saw it along time ago, dont know if its still around. It looked FANTASTIC tho ;-) From a mag back in 2006, still have the info tho,....maybe someday ;-) One can dream....

Hawaii (ok, it's not a foreign country) ? Bali? Germany? Japan? they all jump to mind, along with Thailand (Bangkok).

Hmm...if it was me, I would make a list of countries/places I most want to visit (unrelated to any educational purposes). Then make a list of modalities you most want to learn. Then, you can look at both lists and look into which ones can be combined, so you can come up with a trip that would combine your most wanted education and travel.

I know massage therapy I am looking for something uncommon here in the United states which also gives me a reason to travel there. Thank you for sharing I do love Florida I lived there for 3 years and loved it.

You could learn BREEMA in San Francisco.. Its a not common style of body work.. Looks very interesting.

Thanks everyone,I spoke to a friend whom I went to school with. He is a traveler himself and he said he would go to Thailand with me next year. I am excited to have another massage therapist friend coming with me. I think Thailand will be a great experience. I will also be checking out Belize, China and India in the future.
