The basic goal for all massage therapy is to achieving sustainable results and never to further aggravate the problem. It's critical to keep in mind that deep tissue massage doesn't require the application of excessively strong pressure. This is because the inappropriate application of painfully "deep massage" on clients suffering from minor low back pains, upper back and neck pains often results in significant additional damage to already injured tissues. Such excessive use of force can result in people becoming temporary or even permanently crippled, dependent on painkillers, repeated steroid injections and sometimes even a need for surgery.

This workshop is strongly recommended for all massage therapists because the safe application of deep tissue mobilization is a necessary part of all: full body stress management massage, post event sports massage and orthopedic massage.

It is significant data, but not less important it was published at Science Translational Medicine, and one can say:” This is recognition of medical Society”. In many prospective it is recognition.

Some of us believe that ”techniques“ are the more important component for successful outcome of treatment. Some of us also believe that vigorous pressure is the way to achieve results. There are many other opinions on what is the most important component for successful treatment. Certainly, I have my opinion as well.

Yes, techniques play important role for successful outcome

NO vigorous pressure, shouldn't be applied, and can result in injury,

A sense of touch, including incorporation of energy work, would contribute to successful results

An understanding of what we are doing with our hands is important contributor for successful treatment.

In order to put the success ”puzzle” together, first of all, a therapist has to conduct an initial evaluation. An initial evaluation allows us to create a correct strategy and treatment plan. Always, before starting initial evaluation, as a part of this process, we have to request our clients to fill out questionnaire. If you will have interest to view questionnaire that I offer to my clients, please visit www.medicalmassage-edu.com and then click on “free video clips.”

At the top of the page you would find a link to questionnaire, which you welcome to download for personal use.

The link below is to the video, where I am extending on initial evaluation procedure. I hope it will be helpful .

If you would have any questions please feel free to post it as a YouTube comment. I will try to answer it in the front of a camera, in such a case it will be much more effective.

FREE 12 steps abdominal visceral massage training By Boris Prilutsky.

Dear friends.

Stress and resulting stasis of venous blood in abdominal cavity causes multiple abnormalities such as Chron’s disease, gastric ulcers, gastro intestinal track diseases, colitis, constipation, irregularity and insufficiency of bowel movement, diverticulitis, acid reflux diseases and irritable bowel syndrome but also not limited to producing severe lower back pain. In many cases if not to incorporate abdominal mobilizations it difficult to help people who is suffering from lower back pains, because lower back region dysfunction as well abdominal cavity disorders ,both can trigger this pains. Today these dysfunctions became massive phenomenon.

Because Abdominal/visceral massage is the most powerful methodology in addressing venous blood stasis and reducing lymphedema, I have decided to share my knowledge in abdominal visceral massage protocols. I propose links to twelve steps hands on each step separately. I hope you would like these videos and, most importantly, be able to learn from it. I highly recommend review each step numerous times.

You are welcome ask questions, post comments and provide constructive criticism.
