There are 2 more spaces available for the upcoming Lomi Training and Restorative Healing Retreat on Kaua'i Oct 24- Nov 4th.

This is a great opportunity to rejuvenate yourself and learn more about this hawaiian healing art.

Two very special hawaiian elders will be joining us for a couple of days to share their wisdom as well.

Start your day with a steam and salt detox at Aunty Angeline's and come fly with us

Aloha, Gloria

massageprofessionals.com has just added Lomi Lomi to the list of modalities you can select for your profile. Once you add it to your profile, other Lomi Lomi practitioners or those with questions about Lomi Lomi can find you by putting "Lomi" in the search box in the members section.

I think it is a great way to make Lomi friends & even find people to exchange with when traveling.

Enjoy a recent article published in the Massage Today Journal. I compiled comments from experiences and input on receiving Lomilomi.

Also I published an article in Massage Magazine, March 2011 Sacred Healing Lomilomi, from interviews I did with the hawaiian kumu's.

Enjoy & Mahalo

Thanks Daniel!  My mouth is watering thinking about those Malasadas.  Eat some for me.  :-)

Daniel, Sure would be fun.

Working on manifesting it all! ;)

That would be great Gloria. I hope I'll see you there. You can come along on my Sunday morning excursion to Leonard's for warm Malasada's. Kumu Karen said the class will wait because they must wait until the teacher get's back from Leonard's too. ;-)

Wish I could arrange having October in Hawaii. So many lomi things going on that month.

Daniel, I so want to go to Kumu Karen's class too ---Maybe I need to just spend October in Hawaii and then my training start on Kaua'i the 24th.  ;)

I'd love to go to the conference. But I already planned to be in Kaneohe for Kumu Karen Leialoha Carrol's class 6-9th and must return on the 10th to cover for another person taking vacation. I hope we will see lots of photos and hear lots of story.

I haven't had a chance to read the article but will put it in my to -do list. Love hearing more about the culture etc.

I would love to go to the Lomilomi Association meeting, however I am not sure yet I will have those dates available. If I do, I will be there.

Mahlo Daniel, Gloria and Susan for your feedback. I've waited to reply until I had time to read the Kumus Talk Story newsletter.  I enjoy connection between various lomi practitioners and so appreciate our conversation here!

I recently registered to attend the annual lomilomil conference hosted by the Hawaiian Lomilomi Associateion October 13-15, 2011 on the Big Island.  Is anyone else on the forum planning to attend?
