I am currently preparing resources that will accompany my latest textbook. These resources will be available to both students and instructors.

Please help me compile a list of useful websites. It can include your own site and blogs you follow.

So, what are your favorites?

Thanks!!

Hi Susan - since injury prevention and self-care are so important for massage therapists, I would suggest our website, Save Your Hands!, at http://www.saveyourhands.com.  The site contains resources and many articles on the subject, as does our blog at http://massagemag.com/massage-blog/injury-prevention-ergonomics-man... .

Among the resources on our site is the NIH's site on hand injury: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/handinjuriesanddisorders.html, which offers excellent information on the different disorders of the hand, including those that massage therapists may experience as a result of their work.  I second the suggestion of MyoFinder, great app!

Best of luck with your textbook - it was our pleasure (mine and Rick Goggins') to offer peer review on your self-care chapter!

Best regards,

Lauriann Greene

Thanks Michael and Lauriann.

My favorite apps I use daily in my practice are CJournal for client notes and database, MujiCal Calendar which syncs with my Google Calendar appointment books, Pocket Body for muscle and anatomy reference and Trigger Points for use during deep tissue or Sports therapy work. Hope those help!
Thanks Gregg. Can you also provide links to these resources?
