A fellow instructor recommended piano pieces by Matthew C. Shuman. Ever since, I've been hooked. I always get compliments on my music selection when I play his music during my massage sessions.

I have several CD's by George Skaroulis. He plays the piano and his music is soft and very relaxing. My favorites by him are "Imagine" "Songs For Sophie."

Hi happy to say that AMTA's Massage Research Foundation is going to do fund-raising with two CD's - one, music for massage (some by therapists), two, music (not necessarily relaxing) by therapists. I've donated a five minute excerpt from my solo acoustic guitar recording "Roots and Branches" to the first CD. Happy to help raise funds for a good cause. The whole 60 minute CD "Roots and Branches," which was recorded live in the studio to actual massages being performed, is available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/davidlauterstein Because it was created during massages being performed it is one of the best and most unique of massage musics. Check it out (CD baby has a free excerpt of the opening bars which give a good feeling for it) - I love it and...I did it! (true confessions) :)

I use Pandora for all of my massage sessions. It is awesome because not only do your clients get to pick their music, but you get to hear all kinds of new music. God put music on the earth for everyone to share. One year of Pandora is only $36.00 and there are no ads, plus unlimited hours of play. Some good massage stations to add to your Pandora are TJ Rehmi, Spa Radio, and Instrumental Hip Hop...a little something for everyone. ENJOY!
