Just want to make sure all you girls know that Ruthie Hardie will be teaching at the World Massage Festival in Berea KY in June 2010 at Berea College. Looking forward to seeing all of you there...

I took my basic ashi classes in south florida 2006 from Karen Lay. Also an awesome instructor. I think it was a 4 or 5 day class then. Ruthie had just stopped going to all the graduations. I was crushed.
As soon as I got home I began getting my 40 practicals done so I could go back to south fla.and get my certification. Than I could take the two footed, supine and sideline. So I was doing sessions for free on regular customers. By the time I was certified I was pretty good and the customers were hooked... Those that came in after I began charging i would either start with the seated, then ask? Would you like more. Know one ever said no. When Some one has shoulders of stone the seated moves really melts away those layers of stress. I also might add 30 min to the massage and give them that first time morsal for free. Free is always good... Some people are hesitant to pay for a session of something unknown. So I say give them a sample..... and dance, dance, dance

The 2 footed strokes workshop is for those who have pretty big clients who want really deep work. I do them on most of my male clients (exceptions being clients with smaller frames and contraindicated medical conditions). I love doing the 2 footed strokes. My guest clients in class often ask if "this class is the one with butterflies?? Can you do them on me??" :)

Hi everyone
I took a workshop in November of 08.( Battle Creek Mi.) Loved it.
I am all set up for the work, but do very little of it.
I am working on marketing it more. would love to be able to do more of it.
Then I would consider the next level. Does anyone out there have some marketing suggestions?
I would love to have a seesion of this work done again on myself. anyone in northern Mi.?
