Hello - My name is Terrie Yardley-Nohr. I wrote the textbook "Ethics for Massage Therapists" that was published by LWW. I currently submit articles to Massage and Bodywork on Ethics and Etiquette. I love this site!!! It was great to see what other writers have to say and I look forward to networking in the future!

Hello. I hope it's ok for me to join your group from here in London? I've written lots of articles for UK magazines (Sports Injury Bulletin and International Therapist) and last year my book on Soft Tissue Release was published so I guess I fit the author/writer category. I love reading about therapy and also disseminating information to therapists. I'm lucky because my second book comes out in September (Deep Tissue Massage) and Postural Assessment I hope is out 2011 so plenty to keep me out of trouble:)

I don't know about anyone reading this but I always get quite anxious prior to publication. You can't please all of the people all of the time and all that. Does anyone agree? I guess as long as one works from a base of integrity its ok.

I subscribe to Sports Injury Buletin and SportEx magazine because the articles are quite technical and I like that. SportEx is aimed at sports massage practitioners whilst SIB is for physios and everyone involved in sport-related therapy, including sports masseurs. Can anyone recommend any good therapy-related mags from states?

Hi Fellow Authors! I wanted to be sure everyone got an invitation to the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education's First Annual Conference in Park City, Utah. We are a new independent resource and advocate for massage schools, teachers, and CE providers. We have fielded a great slate of presenters including Tom Myers, Cherie Sohnen-Moe, Iris Burman, and Carey Smith. This conference will be an opportunity to voice your opinion about the current state of massage therapy education and network with fellow teachers and authors. Please check our website: afmte.org for information about the Alliance and to view the conference brochure. SEE YOU IN PARK CITY! Call me if you have questions. 772.332.6116 Take Care, P>

This is a simple to follow guide for independent massage therapists and estheticians who are interested in expanding their services to include showerless body scrubs, wraps, and various add-on's within a dry room.
