I remember one time I was giving a session in my treatment room on the cruise ship when there was a quiet 'tap tap' at the door. Since I was in session, I decide to ignore it. Tourists would always be bumbling about the ship getting lost, knocking on the wrong doors. The tapping went away but came again more insistent, albeit meekly. My client said: "Let's just ignore it?" and I agreed and went back to work. Again came the 'tap tap tap'. I opened the door, saw smoke curling on the ceiling and my friend standing there, holding a sign that read: "Alex please come out. there is a fire." The sauna was two doors down the hall and someone had left the wooden water bucket ladle on the grill. We had to evacuate. There's a lot of wood in a sauna but it never got out of hand. Spa silence is golden: even when on fire, please holler quietly.

That was funny really funny. I was known as the cruise ship therapist in massage school. Being I was only 18 single and no kids, every one thought it would ideal for me. I still have a high desire to work on a cruise ship some day. In the present I am going to Austin Community College for an associates in Exercise Science. Maybe after I get my associates I'll work on my own Seas Stories.
Hi5 Joseph,
do you know if ASMT is still in business?
Thanks,
Alex
Austin School Of Massage? Last I heard they had shut down and left all the students high and dry. But that doesn't surprise me. I have little to no evidence but I heard about this numerous times.
