Hi Daniel.

I'm really glad that you like idea of links. Utilization of knuckles mostly is for adhesions breakdown purposes. What is really typical to Russian medical and sports massage is that any clinical work have to include deep tissue massage, and 50% of time must be spent on kneading techniques . In protocols of orthopedic and postevent sports massage we "must do" including connective tissue massage/fascia mobilization as well trigger point therapy.you welcome to visit my website www.medicalmassage-edu.com some news staff available.

Thanks for writing.

Best wishes.

Boris

Thank you Boris for the links. I have started watching them. Is the use of the knuckles, particularly with locked thumbs to work both sides of the spine typical of Russian massage? It is very effective and sound body mechanics. Very nice. I will be viewing all the links as time permits.

Again, thank you.

Ok so I am finishing schooling to be a massage therapist this week. Yesterday I was talking to one of my instructors and he said," By definition, there is no such thing as sports massage." We argued about it some and he told me to ask a few people that teach sports massage what they say the definition of sports massage is. So I ask, What is the definition of sports massage in your opinion Boris Prilutsky. Since I am not educated enough on this to argue with him about it. I would like to be educated on the matter. Thank you. I love your videos.
