I'm curious what you all wear for you mobile spa services. Do you dress comfy clean and casual or do you wear a spa uniform or scrubs?

Sam, great question. When I send a thank you to my clients I ask them if they would like to post a comment about their experience with my mobile spa I embed a link in the email or a long hand thank you note (whats that?) to a tinyurl address that posts to my posturous account and then gets spread out all over my social networks.

Question for you all:
For those of you that list on marketing material or on your websites- those people that give you testimonials or feedback on your MT services or skills - do you have them sign consent forms before you publish them or no?
And if yes- what do you write out for them to sign?

Kevin ~ I owe you a phone call right! I like your idea and if you do to I would go for it. I think the RV Mobile Spa's work well at sporting Events, concerts, golf outings, larger venue's for the one on one client home Visit perhaps not so much. Depends on which direction and group you are looking to home in on.

Kevin- not at this time. I've researched the possibly of it quite extensively, but I haven't been able to make that leap of faith in this economy (and due to my money situation). It was a bad inbetween time, but I had tried to start a shop MT business before moving to where i am now, it's been a few years ago and wasn't worth it to continue though. Kinda bidding my time and waitin for that right moment. :)
That's good though you all have decent weather- i'm here in Missouri so i was just thinking about trying to do something like that like you mentioned and freezing my clients out on their walk back inside in the winter. That was a bad image...lol...It'd be handy so you can set your own mood and take it to offices as a get away for employees, or what not and i like the safety factor (considerably lower than an in home when you can't control the factors so much). I did know of a lady that tried to start something like that around here (with massage and tanning- imagine that)- but hadn't heard anything else about it so i don't know if it feel through or what. I wish you lots of luck though in whatever you decide! Hope it all works for you! tc

In my eyes- it would depend how well off $$$ wise you are. If it's something you could fairly easily undergo doing right now with no built clientele base, or if it'd help to have that clientele base built up a little/ and extra MT hours and experience for you when you start. gl in however you choose!
PS. I haven't looked where you are from yet- but if you have cold or harsh winters I'd re-consider the travel trailer and decide to do homes as well anyways!

I am getting close to graduating from massage school and i want to start a mobile spa of a different style and was wanting to know what the best way to go would be best. By different style i mean that instead of entering the customer's home i want to use a travel trailer that has been stripped except for the bathroom facilaties and the closet. My questionis is should I start out working for "land-based" spa and bulid up my clientle or just step off into it?
