I totally agree Yolanda. I was laughing at the commet about the juice. The juice makes it but we have no cups. LOLOLOL. I like the coffee shop idea. It looks like from reading the past posts that Sunday is looking good. Even though I put Friday and Sat. I'm very flexible and Sunday is fine with me. I would be remiss if I didn't thank you for starting this up. United we stand. LOL.

Hey everyone! I'm available on evenings & weekends.
I live in West Philly, work in North Philly, and I drive so I’m always concerned about parking.

For the very first meeting, I like the idea of going to a coffee shop environment as Laura said. I definitely would like to take Laura up on her offer to host a meeting (& William if he could get a room at DPT), but maybe on a subsequent meeting (?). And here’s why I say that: If we meet somewhere that sells food/sandwiches/beverages/etc, whoever comes can get as much (or little) as they want and we wouldn’t have to figure out in the beginning if people can bring snacks & drinks. (Nothing like going to a meeting where the person who was bringing the juice/cups can’t make it) However, whatever the major consensus it, I’m ready to go with it! What do you guys think?

To Laura:
Thank you so very much for offering to host a meeting. Even if it's not the very first meeting, I sure hope we take you up on your offer! Hopefully we'll be moving the meet ups around so everyone gets a chance to be close to one (or host one as well, if they'd like). I think once we get started meeting up; we’ll get a chance to plan going forward.

A Sunday afternoon, later, like after 4pm would work well for me as well. Like I mentioned, I would be fine with hosting at my home in the Fitler Square section of downtown Philadelphia. Another idea is to pick a coffee / tea shop to meet and socialize. As far as networking currently with other therapists, I have to admit only a little here and there by connecting with people on a one off basis. I think it would be great o have a true group from ABMP that regularly connect. Not only from the benefits of sharing ideas but so we can learn together and be supportive of each other as well.

Hi Yolanda:

I'm more than interested in the meeting for the Philadelphia therapist.

I live in S. Philly but work in C City. Transportation is no problem.

I teach out of the DPT business school so I was going to see if I can offer one of our rooms to hold a meeting. Unless you were going for a more social gathering. Friday or Saturday is good for me in the afternoon

Hi All & Happy Holidays!

I live in Bucks County Pa. Near the Doylestown/New Hope area & look forward to getting to know a few other practitioners through this group. Karen R., I believe I received my first Lomi session from you a few years ago, after meeting you at the holistic health fair in Allentown!
