Facebook Advertising and Facebook Marketing is much more involved than just learning how to place 'pay-per-click' ads on Facebook.

I've put together (and will continue to expand) a webpage that contains a ton of free marketing and advertising tips on how to utilize Facebook to attract clients.

Please stop by and visit, here: Facebook Advertising.

Also, please share your favorite applications on Facebook, any great articles that have assisted you, etc., etc. I will then add them to this webpage.

Thanks and have an excellent day!

Kris Kelley

P.S. You can contact me on Facebook here as well:

I thought I posed this somewhere, and I'm sure I did but can't find it, so I'll paraphrase ;)

Facebook has now taken over the #2 spot for searching on the Internet, passing Yahoo!

If you'd like to learn how to use Facebook to attract clients, communicate with people on the Internet and grow your business, come and visit!

We'd like to utilize social networking to keep up with alumni, hear their stories, as well as share our offerings. We also like to share our workshop offerings. We have great respect for our instructors and we seek out the finest hands-on instructors for CE to offer the massage community, not just for fulfilling State or National requirements, but for deep, transformational and cutting-edge education. You can find more information here...http://asismassage.com/continuing-education-massage-therapist/arizona-workshops/. We also like to have our staff answer questions that come up as a fun activity in various forums.

Personally, I love the intention of connection virtually but I'm more kinesthetically wired and enjoy more direct contact with my friends other than typing away. On my own facebook, I've had several clients book sessions with me after typing in my status something like, " Bradley Blalock learned another modality over the weekend...Rocking the Body: Integrative Connective Tissue. I'm humbled by all the wisdom that was passed on over the ages to get to this time and place where such an effective confluence of so many modalites can be distilled and shared via science and intuition."

Peace to you,
Bradley Blalock

Hi Matthew~ I joined your page, but could not comment anything...being from Iowa I was really excited to join! Seems social networking is only worth what you put into it, and that may be shooting a bit high...

I personally took a hint from the forum section of this site and created my own geared specifically for local Iowa therapists/students but I leave it open to all. The way I see it is the more information we can collectively gain the closer we can come to achieving our common goal. Its new yet I think its simple enough to be effective for an area. Looking at the overall picture, and recognizing that there are more users utilizing social media as a mean to reach out and stay in contact with friends, career opportunities and industry news than ever before, it seems logical to engage this type of marketing and capitalize on its broad reach while it is still in it's relative infantcy.

Getting started is as easy as creating an account and moving on from there. There are now a number of resources available that educate the user how best to manipulate your social media presence so as to provide the broadest and most effective coverage possible.

From my own experience with Social Media, I can tell you it is the least costly, most effective means to reach your targeted market once you have built your "friend and fan base". People will carry phones and laptops with them regardless where they go. This is truly a direct portal for you to utilize to make your practice, business, group or cause top of mind for your market. When used intelligently, this means of marketing can be truly effective.
World Massage Conference Comment by World Massage Conference on October 28, 2009 at 10:37am
Hi, its Scott one of the organizers of the World Massage Conference. At a conference I run in Ontario, where we had Nick Bontis a professor from the DeGroote School of Business. One of his points was on e-mail, and the effect of millions coming online and that our own environment ie. home, auto.....will be communicating with us regularly. The fridge sending us a message we need milk, our car contacting us because it needs service.
Social networking is where we can connect with the people we want to communicate with when time allows.
Soon most of information we know will change faster than we can absorb. As Dr. Bontis says....it will be as important to unlearn things as it is to learn new ideas.
Be well.

Networking is how I do almost everything I do. Therapists send me articles that I put online for other therapists at www.massagenews.org

Networking has taken the World Massage Festival & Massage Therapy Hall of Fame from an idea to the largest independent massage convention in the country.

Networking is key to anyones success in this profession.
