Does anyone have a "recipe" book that they would recommend? I want to order Universal's "Spa Pantry Cookbook", but don't know if it is worth the price. Any helpful hints? Thanks!.

Marissa mentioned she was interested in locating a spa recipe book in the comments section of this group.  I thought it might help her to create a discussion, so that anyone who wanted to, could add their favorite recipes here.  :)

I believe someone mentioned a book called "Spa Pantry" - Here is a review of the book from another forum I hang out at.

And, I am also cross-posting some threads from that forum, that may give you some recipes to begin with:

"My favorite lip balm recipe:

30 grams shea butter or mango butter
18 grams jojoba oil
13 grams beeswax

melt beeswax, add in butters to be melted, and then once melted add jojoba oil.  stir ingredients together and pour into lip balm tubes or tubs.

I posted a body butter recipe somewhere on this board awhile back.  don't remember when or where."

You can also google "Foot Scrub Recipes" or "Pedicure Recipes" and find some nifty options.

For example, this was from a now defunct website, called "Organic Food for the Feet" which had some good ideas for different foot soaks, scrub recipes:

Smelly Feet Powder

Mix 1/4 cup organic ginger and 1/4 organic cornstarch. Store this mixture in an airtight container. To use, light brush on feet using a large brush designed for cosmetic powder application. Between gingers antibacterial properties and cornstarch absorbency, you will combat foot odour - no more smelly feet!
