Hi Christie!
Thanks for sharing your story and so happy to hear you love what you are doing!

Would you please participate in a massage survey? Thanks!

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=OhBtGlEETUWwi9h5olkCGQ_3d_3d

Please help me compile this information. I'd like more than a 1,000 if possible. Sure it is!
Your participation is MOST appreciated.
Remember you do not have to answer all the questions and Page 2 is "optional". Page two is for those employed only, NOT Self Employed! The survey company automatically includes Page 2 and I was unable to edit or delete. SO it IS OPTIONAL!
Pass it on to your colleagues too.

The intention is to publish this research to assist
Future LMT's, educators, employers and anyone else interested in the statistics of the massage industry!
I want to give you a voice to share your thoughts and experiences.

The Survey will end November 29, 2009

Hi Everyone:

Here is a little bit about myself and what brought me to massage. June of 1996, I lost my husband of 15 years to a massive heart attack at the age of 42. I was left alone with two children to raise, my daughter was 10 and my son was 9. I focused my life on them, but when my daughter was at JMU and my son was about to graduate from high school to go to VCU, I decided that I needed to do something that would be good for me as well as for other people. That led me to going back to school and getting licensed and certified to do therapeutic massage. I loved it from the beginning. It was not the easiest course, but I was dedicated to learning everything I could about this healing art. This was the best decision that I have ever made. I have met some amazing people who come to me so that I can help them heal. If I can help just one person reduce their stress, pain and anxieity levels, lower their blood pressure, and help them deal with the craziness of every day life, it will help them see one more day with their families. Massage is so important to help keep you healthy and happy.
