"I think one reason I began this post is because even though I have a degree in music...I'm such an infant when it comes to knowing what it can really do - especially physically. I know what it can do for my heart and mind. And that's where…"

Music

I have been searching for any textbooks, classes, etc. on the subject of Music Therapy for massage. Does anyone know if there are any offerings out there...in print? I have my Bachelor's degree in music and am a LMT...but am looking for more indepth info on the subject. I'm aware of the common sense side....slower beat is going to result in slower heart rate, deeper relaxation, etc....but would just like something more indepth. I've not had much success in locating anything specifc...if it…See More

Hi Diane!

I was just in KC a few months ago teaching @ MTTI. Will be back again in 2010.

Would you please participate in the massage survey? Thanks!

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=OhBtGlEETUWwi9h5olkCGQ_3d_3d

Please help me compile this information. I'd like more than a 1,000 if possible. Sure it is!
Your participation is MOST appreciated.
Remember you do not have to answer all the questions and Page 2 is "optional". Page two is for those employed only, NOT Self Employed! The survey company automatically includes Page 2 and I was unable to edit or delete. SO it IS OPTIONAL!
Pass it on to your colleagues too.

The intention is to publish this research to assist
Future LMT's, educators, employers and anyone else interested in the statistics of the massage industry!
I want to give you a voice to share your thoughts and experiences.

The Survey will end November 29, 2009
