- Franklin if you are nationally certified then all you will need to do is take the Florida required classes which is Law, ethics, medical errors and HIV. The kicker is those classes have to be done in a classroom setting the first time. After that it can be taken on line. Contact the state of florida just as soon as possible so you can get everything transferred from New York. The process may take a couple of months.
