How many therapists REALLY write out notes?

I'm curious to know how many therapists really write out SOAP notes for their clients.  If you do take notes, how do you go about crafting a plan for your clients - is it even worth your time if…Continue

"The hotel should be paying MTs to do this, or make it part of their contract to be a service provider at their hotel.   We have 28 events nationwide that week -- aka Housekeeping Appreciation Week -- and everyone one of them is paying…"

Austin Volunteers needed!

Hello Therapists,  The Driskill Hotel in Austin would like to offer a short (5-10 minute) free massage to their cleaning staff, but only one of their therapists has volunteered (she happens to be my lovely wife). I think this is a great thing for a company to do and a small thank you to a generally overlooked staff.  The Driskill needs 3 or 4 more therapists to volunteer 2 hours of their time to make this work.  I am asking any therapists in the Austin area to write to me if they are willing to…See More

MassageCRM gets "Referrals"

Early this week, I got an excellent email from one of our new users.  He nicely laid out some of the necessary elements to make MassageCRM truly useful.  The best thing about this email is that our user has been working on a system of bookkeeping and documents to make his business entirely paperless - and that's EXACTLY what MassageCRM is hoping to help accomplish.  As such, one of the features he was really interested in that is not easily done with existing software is the notion of…See More

"Most definitely.  In fact, I developed the website using a MacBook Pro, so it will probably look best on your computer.  One of my favorite features is the body chart coloring tool that relies on an HTML5 capable browser.  Pretty much…"

"The notes I take are really helpful, as Jason suggests, in figuring out what clients like and don't like, what works and what doesn't work.  That way they get sessions that are tailored specifically for them.  I tell everyone…"

"Hi Jason, So you're suggesting that if I have a longer-term plan for a client then they might be more likely to stay?  That's a pretty interesting idea........I will give it some thought!"
