Contact and Connection

Ok, back to massage related issues.  I’ve been very busy lately, even yesterday on Sunday I performed a full day of massage sessions, so I figured I’d attempt to write a bit about it.  Life experiences come in all shapes and sizes.  I’ve learned and experienced a great deal from Ki Aikido, and have done my best to apply what I have learned to my life, and in training to becoming a more proficient, efficient and effective…

Happy Endings and Apps

~

Once again, the dancing bear can sit still no longer.  (Me.)  I was going to let it go, until a client of mine, an ER MD who works in countries around the world poked me about this topic as she often does, in regards to the massage industry’s reactionary behavior on issues of little matter.  This is in regards to the Siri App and happy endings.  Continued below….

Yet again, similar to last years focus on The View (or was it this years focus?) and comments made in regards to…

My 'Job' As A Massage Therapist

Ang and I went out last night for a few beers at the Village Pub in Summerlin. I was chatting with a gentlemen and he asked, "What do you do for a living?" I told him I was a massage therapist who specializes in orthopedic massage, assisting folks with all their aches and pains. Continued, below...

He then asked me, “Do you like it?”  At this point it was just too funny.  This huge, sh** eating grin just bubbled up out of me, and before I could reply, he commented again,…

Massage & Martial Arts

It may seem paradoxical to include martial arts practice as an important aspect to being a massage therapist. When we think of the martial arts, words such as, ‘opponent’ ‘defeat’, and ‘against’ often come to mind.

However, aikido differs from disciplines such as…

Not a problem, I too will be looking for Massage Therapist from all around.  I think it is important to network and stay up to date on all the news and techniques that others may have.  I graduated from school in 2010 and I am getting ready to send in my application to take the national cert test - have you already taken your test?
