That's correct you do need CEU for the National Certification recertification (by the way I know a great course that will give you 56 credit hours in Infant massage). DORA currently does not require CEU's to renew your registration, in the future it may happen. Please make sure your mailing address is current on DORA, because they will only issue a courtesy reminder about renewal. As of now, DORA has not told us who much the renwal fee will be. The registration fee has been lower from $90 to $80.

IF you were registered the first year (2009), there are no CEUS. I think subsequent years, the CEUS are what are required under one of the national exams (my understanding anyway). I registered the first year, so I wasn't required to have taken one of the national exams.

I graduated from the Aurora Campus in Oct 2007 (C10) ~ I worked at the Aurora Campus in Career Services for almost 2 years and then moved to the position of Bursar for almost a year. I am now the Bursar at Westminster.

As far as the Dora requirements there are no CEU for the first renewal since the registration started and there will only be a fee (which hasn't been posted yet). There may be CEU's required in the future.

As far as teaching, all I can suggest is calling the campus and asking about submitting your resume. There are no teaching positions open a the the Westminster campus that I know about and I don't know if there is anything open at the Aurora campus.

Gladly help with any other questions.

This is my first year being licensed in Co,so I am unfamiliar with CEU requirements for the state. Can someone shed some light on this for me...I have looked on DORA's website and I can't find anything about CEU's.

Carol...I am very interested in teaching (part time), is that what you do at the school? I have been licensed by the state of Florida since 2005 and Colorado since 2009....

Carol, you work for DSMT? Which campus? I graduated from the Aurora campus in March of 2007.
Robin, I live in Aurora, but just closed my office in Aurora and looking for new space. We found space in Littleton that we are really interested in, I hope it works out
