Hi all

I have a client in tomorrow who suffers with RA, she has called the salon today to say that it has flared up especially in the neck area. I have treated several clients who suffer with RA but never when it has flared up and I am just a little concerned that I should maybe avoid hot stones or any massage altogether and maybe offer her another treatment or to rebook. Does anyone have any advice or ideas for me?

Thanks :)

During flares I use ice packs and lymphatic massage. It usually stops the flares immediately or you a couple hours. Once a week lymphatic massage is keeping one of my clients free of any symptoms and medicine free.
