I am offering two unique workshops in Indianapolis IN in early August.  The first, Indian Champissage™ (Head Massage) is a 3-day course for 21 CE hours. The second, Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™, is a 1-day course for 7 CE hours.  Both courses are NCBTMB approved (450489-07) and FL approved (50-10661).

What:     Indian Champissage™ (Head Massage)

When:    August 5-7 (Fri/Sat/Sun) 9:00 - 5:00 each day

Where:   Wingate by Wyndham, 6240 Intech Commons Dr., Indianapolis IN

Indian Champissage has been popular in India for over a thousand years.  The head, neck, shoulders and upper back - areas where tension is more likely to accumulate - are gently, firmly and rhythmically massaged until the pressure simply melts away.  This unique therapy combines physical and subtle massage with energy balancing to produce feelings of perfect peace.  It is a wonderful alternative to seated chair massage.

What:     Kansa Vatki Foot Massage

When:    August 8 (Mon) 9:00 - 5:00

Where:  Wingate by Wyndham, 6240 Intech Commons Dr., Indianapolis IN

Kansa Vatki Foot Massage is a beautiful and relaxing healthcare modality which balances the body, mind and spirit.  This unique treatment, steeped in centuries of Ayurvedic ceremony, incorporates ghee (clarified butter).  The heart of the treatment involves vigorously rubbing the soles of the feet with a

3-metal bowl to draw heat and toxins out of the body thereby inducing tremendous relaxation.  The Kansa Vatki Foot Massage is deeply revitalizing for tired feet and legs, and it makes a perfect addition to reflexology.

If you live anywhere near Hancock, Michigan and would like to learn a head massage technique from India (Indian Champissage TM), I am teaching a three-day workshop there on August 19, 20 and 21, 2011. It is approved for 21 CE hours and I still have a few open spaces although the class is filling up steadily (max 12 students as it is a very hands-on workshop). This is suitable for both experienced MT's as well as someone who is just starting to learn massage. It combines traditional head massage techniques used in India with a variety of other techniques, including energy balancing, to result in a very relaxing, destressing modality. It does not require oils or lotions and is given with the client sitting in a normal chair, fully clothed, in a 25 - 30 minute session. It's therefore extremely 'portable' (no equipment to carry around) and very kind to therapists' hands. My website is currently having some software issues but contact details should be visible on the first page: www.camtraininginternational.com.

Thank you and I am looking forward to my visit to Hancock!
