Lots of Questions

I am getting a lot of questions from therapists just starting out and thought maybe a discussion group could serve as a reference point for them.
This time of transition is a delicate time. So many therapists lose confidence. Do not let this be you. This group is here to help you make it. You ARE one of us!

There is now an alliance forming for therapists and students at the Massage Therapy Alliance of America. Click on this link for details http://www.mtaamassage.org

Hi Tina-What a wonderful resource to provide for new therapists! I did notice one error (typo) on the the Home page:

What's the negative?

The most negative aspect, after 10 years in practice, is the tole it takes on your body.

I think you meant toll?

Also, I'm in OH and my school was not listed: Stark State College Massage Therapy Program http://www.starkstate.edu/?q=academic-programs/massage-therapy-one-... but maybe you are just listing "massage only" schools?

I think your website is an excellent source of information and I will forward it to the new massage therapists I know.

This is a website that was specifically designed for new massage therapists.

Would love to have your thoughts and suggestions about the site:

Who will be the FREE student attendees in 2011? Lexington Healing Arts, in KY honored us last year. The students were very professional and a delight. They added so much and had FUN! So the question is: Who will be the FREE student attendees in 2011? We are looking for students, teachers and schools to participate FREE!!!
