What Do You Wear in Your Sessions
just another topic i'd love to hear what everyone is doing. i know some have to wear more medical type "uniforms". i usually am in black yoga pants and a black tshirt. simple. clean. nonsexual so there can be NO mistake of what I do.

Yes, black here too. However, I am slightly surprised that I am the only one commenting that wears scrubs. They are automatically professional looking, and are extremely easy to move in. I've heard the debate before that wearing scrubs makes us too in-line with the medical community, but when was the last time you saw a nurse or surgeon wearing black scrubs? Plus, in the salon setting it instantly sets you apart from the staff. And the thought of not having proper support for footwear is giving me a heart attack. I completely understand for the Thai work...I guess I've had my hands on too many feet over the years to consider shoeless.

I wear scrubs, usually just the top, since I'm usually on my way to someplace else. In the chiropractic office where I work, everybody wears black scrubs. A tribute to allopathic opposition! ;o)

I'm another one that dresses in black. And I keep a lint brush in the laundry room for those little white specks that get on you when you're handling the sheets:)

I wear a polo shirt with Cherokee pants and Crocs santa cruz canvas shoes. The Cherokee scrub pants are very comfortable with great soft material (style # 1119).

Green organic cotton t-shirt, green bamboo and organic cotton polo or natural bamboo and organic cotton t-shirt on top. Organic cotton pants in either tan or brown on bottom. Bamboo socks. Keen shoes. In summer switch to organic cotton cargo shorts of various light colors. Provider of bodywork & reflexology from my studio in a commercial building.

I, Like you Lisa usually wear the same, black and mostly barefoot.
However, when I do lomi lomi I wear a hawaiian flowered sarong and give one to my client too!

I wear light-weight black basketball pullovers, black polo cotton shirt, white ankle socks and New Balance tennis shoes and my baseball hat turned backwards.

Wow! Lots of wearing o the black here - add me to that group also. It certainly narrows the daily choice when it's all black and it always matches. I too don't like to wear shoes/clogs/etc. while working - they are too constricting - and my feet get too warm.

I wear and strongly recommend scrubs and fully supportive rubber sole shoes to support bodymechanics. My students are required to wear this type of professional dress.

I wear khaki-type pants and a polo shirt, of which I have several different colors. And sneakers on my feet. Clean, simple, professional. :)

I dress more "dressy". I spend alot of time looking for dress pants that move well and are flexible as well as shirts that are dressy and comfortable.
My interest is definately in clients of middle to upper middle class status in an otherwise depressed area so I try to dress accordingly, if that makes sense.
