Hi Karen - Nice advertisement, but it seems to be missing the price. I might even think about this workshop, and I can always use the CEU's. Bill

Any NJ Massage Therapists want to join me in Boston May 15-16 to do massage at the Avon Breast Cancer Walk, please let me know. I am willing to take anyone up with me, even though I do have to be up there May 14. So if you are willing to go up an extra day.

Thanks Bridget, for the info. I have not joined either of them yet. I am told in school that ABMP is the best one but is there any differing opinions?

Hi Leo, Have you joined either the AMTA or the ABMP? If so they can direct you to different resources to help with your questions. Getting involved with the "Chapters" are a good source.

Greetings, I am currently a student but will be finishing in June this year. with all the legalities of massage as far as accepting perscriptions and other issuses the school I am in has not covered them in detail just in minor conversations so is there someone or a class that one can take to learn and get all this info from to help prepare a new therapist like myself to launch their business or at least work with someone that will show them the ropes. .

If anyone is having difficulties getting through to the NJ Board of Massage to check up on the status of their application or have any questions regarding it, and cannot get through the phones. Please let me know, I do have their e-mail address. It took me 6 months to get my NJ License, so I for warn any new applicants. There is only one person working in the offices at this time.
