Oh yeah - I hear you. Some private label isn't so special. I know that there are some companies that work with you to formulate. If you want I can check to see if I have save any info on those. So for you - the packaging is important so that it looks professional and high end. I am not sure how the public feels about private label. Unless they think that you are making the products in your kitchen, I would think that they would be impressed that you are working with a lab to produce original products - it shows that you are SO particular that almost nothing else would be good enough for you and your clients. If your clients are out of town and they like you and your product offerings then you might think about adding a shopping cart to your web site if you don't have one yet. Packaging and shipping product is time consuming though - not as easy as pulling a product off the shelf! You would also be opening up sales to people who are NOT your clients....could get sticky....hmmmm

Cindy: Excellent advice! I just wonder how the public feels about private label lines? It may be a hard sell for me since most of my clients are hotel guests that I see a few times a year however, they are easily impressed by infomercials so that just may work! Years ago when I heard about someone offering private label items, I would be impressed until I found out how anyone without any knowledge could purchase a pre-packaged line...so I would say I would go this route only if I truly believed what the key ingredients were in the line.

Alicia - I don't have any specific recommendations. You seem to already have a nice mix and seem to be well covered. While I am not a big fan of the Emminence line, clients seem to LOVE it. Anyway - I would look at my clients and see if there are any gaps in products and treatments. Maybe a more clinical line is indicated or a more treatment specific line. For example I know a lot of people like Dr. Fulton's Vivant line for their acne clients (did he write the book Acne Rx or am a thinking of someone else?) Or perhaps a line that no one else in your area is offering - something more exclusive. Or maybe it's time for you to go private label??? Because you already have nice products lines you could take your time with introducing and testing various private label products.

This year I am thinking about adding another product line. I currently use Dr. Schrammek and Eminence Organics. I love them both but I want to add something new. Any suggestions?

Is anyone doing microdermabrasion with the machine on the body?

Another question; Is everyone in this group providing spa body treatments as add-on's? If not, why? As always, thanks for your feedback!
