Hello out there! I am a new Massage therapist and I have only used two diffrent Massage Gels before. I have also tried oils, Creams, and Lotions. By far Gel is my favorite. I have used Biotone and I am not really sure what the other kind is Nutro organic something like that. So I was wondering what your Favorite Brand is and why ? Also do you know of any deals on massage gel? Do you know of any affordable massage gels that you feel are no diffrent then an expensive one? Anyways Affordable..... Expensive I want to know all of it. The good, The Bad and The Ugly of Massage Gels. You know what lets not discriminate I want to also know if you like oils, creams, Lotions and or gels better too.

Don't be afraid to post links to you favorite massage gel or whatever you like to use.

Lotus Touch Therapeutic Oil Gel -
This all new formula features nourishing safflower, castor and soy oils to give you the glide you expect from oil without the residue. Your clients won't feel sticky after your treatment. It's nourishing and hydrating for dry hands and clients. Therapeutic Oil Gel is an excellent alternative for therapists who have previously avoided oil. It only leaves 33% of the coating on the skin compared to oil! The lack of residue or greasy feeling allows clients to return to work or home without taking a shower after the treatment. This amazing product is free of paraben preservatives and propylene glycol. Replenishes the skin with essential fatty acids. For best results wash table linens the same day. We recommend Always Fresh Laundry Detergent. Shake Oil Gel well before using. Unscented.

I have used this for 2 years. I copied this from Massage Warehouse who is also running a 15% off sale, You have to have a special code but friend them on facebook and the code is there.
www.auracacia.com has a fabulous massage "cream". I say, "cream", because I feel that is better classified as a gel. Perfect for mixing with essential oil blends.
Hi Christen,
I can't make a comment on massage gels, as I haven't tried them but I have used massage wax for a long time. In fact, I was trying to think when I made the change and I think it was around 9 years ago. I only use oil in an emergency, like there is no wax around.
I use a brand called Tui Balmes from New Zealand. I made the switch primarily because of the damaging effect of oil on linen and the problem of regulating friction with oil. Wax will not spill out of it's container and doesn't soak into towels like oil can.
Of particular interest to the SI people out there is the fascial release balm that Tui make. I would be interested in anyone's experience using magnesium rich gels in bodywork.

I love aura cacia essential oils and you can get them at your local cvs store for under $10
