I have a new client.  Used to be a long haul trucker, is now driving a forklift.  Complains of pain in sacral region, posterior portion of both legs and mid back.  During massage I found significant swelling and adhesion in the Right glutes and quads, three typical gluteal triggers and overall tension was much greater on the Right side.  While using trigger therapy in Left glute observed tremors and spasms in Right glute.  Most of the tension in the Left side was consistent with compensation stress.  Client reiterated that he feels equal pain on both sides and has tremors in both legs.  I focused treatment on the Right side- there was really very little to do on the Left.

I concluded that the condition of the Right side is do to long period of aduction using the Right leg for the foot pedals of the forklift.

Does anyone have any insight for why he would feel equal pain and not have the sensation that there is more tension on his right side?
