Steps to Becoming a Massage Therapy Instructor

The first steps are to 
(1) successfully complete this MTI - Teaching Adult Learners course http://www.arianainstitute.com/ce-online/#mti
(2) complete the course evaluation that you can access upon completion of the course and 
(3) receive your official certificate of completion from Ariana Institute.

If you are applying to become an NCBTMB approved massage therapy instructor and continuing education provider, send the Ariana Institute's certificate of completion to NCBTMB with your application.

If you are a Texas licensed massage therapist, complete the MTI Application for the State of Texas and send the Ariana Institute's certificate of completion to DSHS with your application and payment.

Preparations for Teaching Your CE Courses

Focus on finding an appropriate space for teaching, setting prices, registering participants, receiving payments from participants, preparing rosters and certificates of attendance for the students and preparing for the event.

Teaching Your CE Class

Create a structure and an environment that participants will find beneficial and that they will enjoy. Utilize the resources at the end of this course notebook as well as the information you have gained in this course material.

CE Credits

Ariana Vincent is approved as a provider for The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) which requires 48 CE hours every 4 year recertification cycle. Upon successful completion of this course, you can apply 30 CE hours toward your NCBTMB renewal requirements.

Ariana Institute’s courses fulfill a portion of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) Board Recertification Requirements (48 CE hours every 4 years). Upon successful completion of this course, you can apply 30 CE hours toward your AMTA renewal requirements.

This 30 hour continuing education course fulfills the Texas Department of State Health Services requirement for completing an acceptable Adult Learners Course prior to submitting your Massage Therapy Instructor application to Texas DSHS.

Ariana Vincent is approved as a provider for Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), Massage Therapy Division, which requires 12 CE hours every two year cycle. According to Texas DSHS, this course is approved for 12 CE hours for Practice Building, Marketing, and Self Care.
