Need help with business project. Should I put a help wanted ad on craigslist offering free massage as payment?

I am a massage therapy student and need help with my business project. This includes costs, overhead, supplies, etc EVERYTHING as if I will open a business tomorrow. Does anyone know if I should post an ad on craigslist for help offering free massage or would that be a bad idea?

In my opinion, a bad idea.  Every place I’ve worked.  It’s not free exactly, but therapists trade massages.  Most people that work want money.

Hi Jeremy,

I think it's a bad idea to get help with your business project from people who come to craigslist to purchase random things.

Why not just ask for help here?  Or, at Bodywork Online?  Asking a therapist will get you further.

Bad or good idea?  more times then not listing massage on craigs list can be implied as sex by the reader.  All to often those that respond don't show for the appointment.  That has been my own personal experience.

Now if you can find an decent place to put that add it's a different story.  It really depends upon how much work is involved.  For an hour or two worth of work I might even consider helping you out.  For a longer period of time, I agree people may start wanting cash payment for at least part of it.
