<p>A massage therapist who was a mentor to me in the late 90's had to retire 3-4 years ago, after having been a therapist for about 25 years. She had been mindful of self care for a long time as far as not doing too many massages per day/week, but she developed benign tumors in the palms of both of her hands. I believe she had other health problems as well, so I don't know how much that had to do with it. I'd moved out of her state by that time, and have always wished I'd had a chance to work…</p>
