Hi Marissa how do I find the petition I have not take an online course yet but was think about doing so and it would not be fair for them to discontinue letting us use this valuable tool Thanks for any help you can give Julie

That's the rumor. There is a petition on here that you can sign to try and reverse it!

well, I'm dying to take a trigger point class, or a sports massage class. I'd prefer to take them as workshops, as I've already taken 2 online classes- and then I just heard that NCBTMB is no longer accepting online courses? Is this true?

Pam

You should be able to check that online, just go to the Illinois HR website (you can google that) and it should say what bills were passed or not.

Hi Jamie - When I was in school I used aromatherphy and classical music while I was studying. I used a blend that contained peppermint and placed it on a cotton ball which sat on my desk. I then put the cotton ball in a small plastic bag and kept it in my bag so that I could inhale the scent right before I took tests or quizzes in order to trigger the memory recall of what I had studied. It worked for me.

Sara- Is there a distinctive difference b/w Cranio and Pediatric Cranio? As in a distinctive treatment and protocol? Would be interested to know. Thanks!

Hi Sara,

Thanks for the thanks. I just had a Craniosacral session last week and it was a profound experience. I am switching out Reiki sessions with the CS therapist at my job. I think CST on children is an up and coming field, I wish you lots of success with that.

Thankyou Pat for starting this group.
I am a Craniosacral Therapist in Chicago, certified by the Milne Institute.
Just started working with Pediatric Craniosacral therapy...

Jamie- Welcome. What is it you are looking for in particular? A specific modality, a specific class? There's a lot out there. Narrow it down and I will help in any way I can.
