How far are you willing to travel to do a mobile massage?

Do you set a radius for you and your therapists when taking appointments on the road?  How much more do you charge if your travel time increases?  $.50 per mile is my general rule beyond 25 miles.

Kevin ~ I owe you a phone call right! I like your idea and if you do to I would go for it. I think the RV Mobile Spa's work well at sporting Events, concerts, golf outings, larger venue's for the one on one client home Visit perhaps not so much. Depends on which direction and group you are looking to home in on.

I am getting close to graduating from massage school and i want to start a mobile spa of a different style and was wanting to know what the best way to go would be best. By different style i mean that instead of entering the customer's home i want to use a travel trailer that has been stripped except for the bathroom facilaties and the closet. My questionis is should I start out working for "land-based" spa and bulid up my clientle or just step off into it?

...was another $30 for the paypal virtual terminal.

paypal charges a $30 monthly fee and that was just for website payments pro. If you wanted a virtual terminal for manual processing it was another $0. Where as cell charge was only 16.00 a month for both cellcharge basic so you can be mobile and a virtual terminal. I was really liking the mobility idea. Plus I'll be using spaboom so I need a virtual terminal as well. The confusion with the contracts with cellcharge makes me leary. Especially when it's the president of the company that is aware of the issue and is not correcting it on the website. It seems to be a contract trap if you ask me. Say one thing on the site and sign up for something else.

I have not had any experience with cellcharge however watch your contracts! They do hold you to them and they are expensive to get out of. With the roll out of my Online booking Software for Mobile Spa's in the next month there is an option for a Virtual and well as mobile processing with your plan. I choose CoreTranz. I do not use them currently but they are a good fit for a group plan and gave me excellent rates and not hidden fee's. Of course it is a 2 year contract. But I have seen no less then that. Other option for now while you are still shopping would be a Pay Pal account. A couple bucks more but no contract and you can do your homework or wait for the software!

No one said anything bad that I'm aware of. This is what has happened with my own experience so far.
It says there is no contract required. yet if you read the terms of agreement when you go to apply it says you are signing a three year contract.
I emailed the president about this and he then sent me a "revised" copy. However I'm still signing for the original three year agreement copy online. It just seemed odd to me so that's why I wanted to know if anyone knew anything about them.

I'm in the process of trying to find a mobile credit card processing company. The abmp recommends cellcharge.com and I've run into a couple of red flags when dealing with them. I was wondering if anyone here uses them or if you had any other recommendations. I'm wanting a virtual terminal as well as mobility.
