March 1st saw the advertising standards authority introduce the potential for wrist slapping should your web site claim any theraputic effect without a supporting RCT.

Quite what on earth, will happen with this, nobody knows........but it stinks !

Hi. My phone ringing and inbox heaving with questions from therapists and tutors regarding the new VTCT 'level 5' sports massage. And this new sports therapy organization, the SRTC. Has anyone else been dealing with this?

I have learned such alot on this fantastic site. I would not normally get so involved with EBP research and legislation.
Some important things=
The canadian 3,000 hrs is not the yard stick I thought Those guys are so highly trained they maipulate osteo style this is taking MT too far IMO most professions seem to drop the word massage when looking to distingiush themselves from mere massage.
On the formulation of legislation and licencing it looks like protected titles aren't all that if you dont protect the action ie only osteo's/chiro's manipulate
