Did some reading on the internet and may have answered some of my question. But perhaps you can add more about the techniques used by her Kumu Wayne Kealohi Powell. I saw an article by Wayne written together with Harry Jim.

Have you found what you sought by going to Hawaii?

Jeff what makes this "True" Lomi Lomi? What is the lineage and is this from a Maui family? How does it differ from other Lomi Lomi? I always interested in the different Lomi Lomi heritages.

I specialize in NMT massage.  Im from WI.  To me there is just something about being able to help ppl achieve pain reliefe!  After all isnt that what a massage therapist does?  I also have two outstanding massage therapists I work with!

No, unfortunately I have not yet had the privilege to meet them yet.  Ihave met Judith, Paula, Don, and Jamie.  They all seem to be a very energetic, knowledgeable, and committed "family" to work with.

How about you?  What do you all specialize in, etc?   Haveyou taken some of Judith's classes?  What state are you in?

I was wondering if you would be interested in a spray and stretch course to be taught in Hawaii? If you would like to discuss more, please let me know. I have been teaching this course for some time and am one of the primary authors to the course that Gebauer Company (the makers of Spray and Stretch) had designed.

Thank you.

Best,

Hi Jeff- Need to understand part of your statement: the law of reciprocal inhibition is broken when we perform antagonist co-contraction... the role of postural muscle fibers- what are you saying in antagonist co- contraction? Agonist and antagonist? or something else? Please give an example for instance- Generally mathematical laws are absolute and hold for all cases or the hypothesis is faulty. - Hank

Aloha Jaya!

Would you please participate in a massage survey! Mahalo!

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=OhBtGlEETUWwi9h5olkCGQ_3d_3d

Please help me compile this information. I'd like more than a 1,000 if possible. Sure it is!
Your participation is MOST appreciated.
Remember you do not have to answer all the questions and Page 2 is "optional". Page two is for those employed only, NOT Self Employed! The survey company automatically includes Page 2 and I was unable to edit or delete. SO it IS OPTIONAL!
Pass it on to your colleagues too.

The intention is to publish this research to assist
Future LMT's, educators, employers and anyone else interested in the statistics of the massage industry!
I want to give you a voice to share your thoughts and experiences.

The Survey will end November 29, 2009
