6-Step Marketing Outline For Your Mother’s Day Promotion.

If you live in the United States, there is a big marketing ‘op’ for you if you want to promote Mother’s Day.

It’s Sunday, the 12th of May and many of us will honor Moms across the country.

Mother’s Day is one of the biggest gift-giving holidays, so now is a good time to get some of your marketing in action.

Before you start to stress about how to do it or what to do –
you can relax.

I’m giving you a 6-Step, no-cost, marketing outline to help you design a promotion for Mother’s Day for your biz.

Use my 6-Step Marketing Outline below to get your brain-juices flowing.

This outline will help you think of how you can personalize your Mother’s Day Special, and your message to best match your clients and your brand.

Step #1. Determine what will be in your ‘offer’:

  • Will you add on extra time?
  • Bring in another therapist for a couple’s massage?
  • Include an extra service such as aromatherapy?
  • Give the Moms a purple rose when they check out?
  • Give a discount on the service price? (I only suggest this as a last resort)

Step #2. Determine the price:

  • Remember, you don’t have to discount your Special.
  • If you add in some yummy extra goodies, you can even sell it at a higher price!
  • Make it enticing for the person who is buying it.

Step #3. Determine the time frame:

  • Will it be available just the Mother’s day?
  • Will it be available the weekend?
  • Will it be available  for the week?

Step #4. Determine how they will purchase your offer:

  • Do you want them to call, email, order online?
  • You are promoting this NOT to the Moms, but to the kid, husband, partner, so make it super simple for them  to buy and give, AND remind them of how easy it will be for the mom to redeem!

Step #5. How will you promote your Mother’s Day Special?:

  • Will you post your special on FaceBook?
  • Will you link it to your website?
  • Will you send an email to your list?
  • Will you send a postal mail card or letter to your present and past clients?
  • Will you write a short press release to get out to the media in your local area or town?

Step #6. What will you use to promote your Mother’s Day Special?:

  • Will you use a video to share the message in a creative way?
  • Will you use images of you and your Mom, or you and your kids?

 

Once you have all your ideas worked through — get moving on it.

Next month you’ll be seeing the fruits of your labor with more revenue,
& you’ll see more clients!
