Namaste Gordon,

Yes, our Himalayan Healers project has been in Nepal for 8 years now... www.himalayanhealers.org :)

We're always open for guest teachers and students, and eager to share and to learn... If you have ideas about what you would like to share just let us know!

Have a great day,

Rob

Hey Rob, I may be able to help you. (My schools are not for sale though)  What state would you like to land in? Do you have much capitol to work with?

Cool, good luck, I love your mission.  I will say that opening a brand new school is a very risky proposition.  The market and regulatory atmosphere in the States has become very difficult to operate in.  Also, buying a failing, or failed school is not usually a good idea as there may be reasons besides the management of the school, that it is failing. Your best bet is usually to buy a successful school. Of course this requires some money, or some sort of payment plan.

Best of luck! Please write if I can help you in any way.

Dear Alexei,

THANK YOU for the reply and the info, greatly appreciated. :)

I have actually been hoping to find one of the massage schools that may be going out of business, or may have recently gone out of business, to create a "win-win" situation: Would love to buy their business license and equipment. :)

In researching everything, it looks like it is more cost-effective to simply register a new school with new equipment and such. Thanks anyhow Alexei. Keep up the great work!

That's awesome, we have the same definition of success at our schools.  Good luck!

Hello,

I opened up a Massage School in beatuiful Colorado Springs, CO in 2012. We are regulated by the Colorado Department of Education, Division of Private Occupational Schools.  It is a 9 month program certifying students in Massage Therapy with an area of focus on either Easter Therapy Modaliites, Spa Therapies, or Medical Massage. The school will be graduating its frist student this July, at which point I will need to sell the business.  Please contact me if you would like more information.
