I will be taken the board exam in a month, anyone have advice on how to prepare. II have talked to some LMTs that I have met and picked their brains one said she was amazed at the number of questions that she never heard or the subject was never brought up in school, I don't need a debate on the merits of quality of education just some practical advice on what books, websites, practice exams or steps that had value to you. Thanks ,Keith

Keith... I will be taking mine on March 17th.....Good Luck
Keith, buy you a Barron's National Review Guide for Massage and Bodyworkers. There are questions in this review guide that are on the national exam word for word. You can buy it at Amazon.com. for a very reasonable price. That is what I did. Passed the test on the first try. Yes, there is information on the test you did not receive in school. At leastr that was true for me. Get the review guide and memorize it. You will do just fine.
Some of my students use www.massageprep.com

That might be what Samantha was talking about.

Also, I developed four practice exams (each exam contains 100 questions).

You have to register for them, but they are free.

Go to

https://evolve.elsevier.com/cs/Satellite/StudentHome?Audience=Student

In the upper right hand corner is a search box.

Type in “Salvo”

Click on “Register” under “Mosby’s Pathology for Massage Therapists, 2nd edition" (its a yellow book).

After you register, look on your home page under “Resources” for the book title and click on it.

Then select any chapter folder (there are 15).

Then select “Review Questions – Certification and Licensing Exam”

Study and Good Luck.

I used a website to practice- but i'm sorry i can't remember which one. It cost like $40.00 for a month to practice on. Had lots of practice exams, study aids for the test. Also got with classmates and practiced in groups.
