I am in the process of opening my first Massage Clinic, and am looking at ways to officially "launch" my establishment.
I have found that public education regarding the benefits of massage therapy in this area is extremely lacking, which I feel is a great opportunity for me.
As this is the first time i've done anything like this, I wanted to write out what I was thinking of doing, and would love opinions on whether you feel it would be a good idea, or if you had any input on how I could improve my plan of action.

Basically I am hoping to have an Open House one weekend and invite people to come have a tour of my little clinic, and give them the opportunity to ask questions about my services etc.
I was also thinking about doing 2 small "presentations" during the day, to hopefully inform potential clients of treatments etc.

In additional to this I was thinking of having some kind of Raffle with a give-away of services for a few people, and use this as a way to get contact details for potential clients to set up a mailing list etc.
There are a few different Therapists in the area also, and I am wondering if it would be seen as "cheeky" if I were to send them personal invitations to the event?

Maybe also have one or two little "games" for freebies of T-shirts or Keyrings or something?

Have any of you done something like this before?

I hold an open house about once a year and it is always a rocking success. Here are some pictures of last year's event!

Here are pictures from a similar event I did last year, "Ladies Day." We sold out 61 appointments in less than 24 hours.

I don't do games, just drawings for door prizes. I usually also ask people to bring something for charity, like canned food for the homeless shelter.

I always serve food, and we always draw a big crowd!
