Hi Rachael. I was in for a beginning basic massage and I love the new brown sheets. Are they flannel? I am coveting them bad. Can you tell me where you got them? I wouldn't mind have a couple for my massage practice.

Here are some ideas for you, Tami:
Be sure lighting is soothing. If setting has flourescent lights consider finding an alternative. If you can use natural lighting that is really the best.
Check temperature in room and ensure it is a comfortable temperature for clients.
Add aromatherapy to the room through a diffuser or burn some LIGHTLY scented incense such as Aloeswood.
Create an environment of peace by being sure there is no talking during session unless absolutely necessary. This can be disruptive to others in the room. Our team does this by speaking in a very low voice to check in with client and all therapists begin and end at the same time.

Business is slow and I want to start getting out into my community and offering chair massage. I've already got brochures and business cards made up, and I've already done an employee appreciation day at a local bank (it was my bank and they just deposited what they owed me into my account!). Here is my question... What can I do with my chair massage to make it special. Really, all I have is music playing in the background. Does anyone do anything different to make that 5-15 minutes a true "get away" experience?
